Judith Nowlin is a venture backed FemTech pioneer with an impressive career spearheading the next wave of transformative impact in maternal healthcare over the past two decades. Having raised over $9M to revolutionize breastfeeding support, Nowlin is leading the next wave of impact in maternal healthcare in her role as CEO of Nest Collaborative. 

Judith’s calling began 20 years ago in Boulder as a childbirth educator, birth doula and postpartum doula. In 2008, the year of “There’s An App for That”, her visionary insight led to recognizing the transformative potential of emerging mobile health technologies in improving clinical outcomes and reducing the cost of care for mothers and infants. Leveraging her expertise as a doula Judith founded iBirth, a groundbreaking B2B patient care companion app tailored for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, aimed at enhancing health outcomes. Judith successfully helmed the company as CEO from its inception until its acquisition in 2018 when iBirth was acquired by Babyscripts, the market-leading remote patient monitoring platform for maternal health.

In November 2021, Judith joined Nest Collaborative during a period of substantial growth for both the company and the industry at large. The company has now served over 50,000 patient encounters with their comprehensive lactation support services covered by over 200 payers nationwide, including Medicaid in five states. Judith’s pivotal role involves expanding the lactation platform and spearheading the next wave of transformative impact in maternal healthcare.
