Innovation Mindset for Startups

Organizations with goals of rapid growth need to combine an innovative mindset with enterprise-level focus and resources. When you think about the typical startup, what words come to mind? "Lean"? "Innovative"? "Trendy"? "Agile"?

What about a classic Fortune 500 enterprise, or a municipality that has been around for decades or centuries even. Odds, are the words that come to mind invoke a completely different set of words - maybe "bureaucratic," "political", "too hierarchical", "stifled", "outdated" and perhaps "difficult".

Despite their intrinsic differences, one thing is certain: The pace of change across industry is so fast and volatile that organizations of all sizes risk their very survival unless they become more disruptive and innovation.

Come along to this conversation and understand why and how organizations, need to, and can develop cultures of open collaboration, and most importantly, innovation - developing an innovation mindset for startups is, hyper co-innovation. Probablemente, las palabras que vienen a su mente representan un conjunto completamente diferente de palabras, tal vez "burocrático", "político", "demasiado jerárquico", "sofocado", "desactualizado" y quizás "difícil".

When does entrepreneurship actually start? How can today's students capture ideas, cultivate a plan, find support for potential business ideas, and keep it all under control?

In this session we will be taking a reversed approach, meaning our panel will be asking questions of the audience! Our panel, consisting of Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs and our subject matter expert will be learning from you our mentors, seasoned entrepreneurs, service providers, community mentors and subject matter experts.

The mechanics: 
Each question or conversational topic will be posed to the audience and invited to answer. Those invited to respond will have just a few short minutes (timed) to respond, if there is no audience respondent the dubious task will fall to the panel subject matter expert.

Let’s see who gets stumped first! ¿Cuándo realmente comienza el emprendimiento? ¿Cómo pueden los estudiantes de hoy capturar ideas, cultivar un plan de trabajo, encontrar apoyo para posibles ideas comerciales y mantener a la vez todo bajo control?
